We are constantly seeking to improve the quality of our lives. Everyone wants a god life, however only a few are willing to work for it. But having a good life, shouldn’t be that complex. It should be easy and straight forwards. So, here is a guide from zero to eight hours of your day which should go into each task.
1. 0 HOURS – of television
Sitting in front of that idiot box is not helping you to relax, it is only making to lethargic and numb. Even if it is after a long day of work and all you want to do it wind down for the day. Make it a point to do something engaging and fun with your family or loved ones to mark a happy end to the day. Play a board game, go out for a night walk or do a bit of a hobby, anything but numbing yourself in front of the screen for hours on the end.
2. 1 HOUR – of exercise
You don’t have to be a pro at it, any form of exercise would do. Experiment with the kinds of exercises which are out there and find what you love to do. It could be good old cardio, a walk or even taking a dance lesson for an hour after work. It will keep you fit, healthy and prep you up better for a long hard day of work.
3. 2 LITERS – of water
Try to keep yourself hydrated by drinking at least 2 liters of water in a day. You can be creative when it comes to tricking yourself into drinking more water. You can try infused water or download an app to keep a track of the amount of water intake through the day. Some apps also remind, you to keep drinking water during the day, so you develop a habit over time.
4. 3 CUPS – of green tea
It might have effects on your weight but mostly it would help you to calm down and help with anxiety and stress. Have a few cups of soothing green tea, during the day to keep yourself active without relying on high doses on caffeine. And of course it just might help you to maintain that weight and get a big dose of antioxidants for your health.
5. 4 SHORT – mental breaks
Ensure that you take at least 4 short breaks throughout the day for your brain. This will help you center your focus and energy in the priority for the time. Be sure to take a break by doing some meditation before bed as well, to get a peaceful good night sleep.
6. 5 SMALL – meals in a day
Eat small portions through the day to keep your energy and concentration levels up. Eating smaller portions rather than huge meals once or twice a day, is healthier and recommend when people try to switch to a healthier lifestyle. So make break down your food into five small meals and become healthier.
7. 6 A:M – wake up time
Becoming a morning person, is only going to help you to become more productive in the long run. Build a habit of waking up and falling asleep at the same time, to make a routine which works for you. Thus, ideally your waking up time should be 6 A: M, so you get some time for yourself before a long say at work starts.
8. 7 MINUTES – of laughter
Take some time off to laugh and be happy in a day. Spend time with your friends, family and loved ones, to have a good time filled with laughter and fun. All you need is 7 minutes of laughter to pump some positive energy into your day and life.
